I had to drill larger holes

installed. The window works again. However, when reinstalling the doorknob, the pre-drilled holes were not large enough for the pin.

Pros
  • trial year
Cons
  • later I will

didn't last long on me

Installation went well, but after three weeks it starts to creak when I open the window. The only thing left to do is let it run until it crashes. I would not buy again

Pros
  • Super price

Inexpensive solution that is worth it

Molding was quite successful. Not as durable as the OEM but for the price compared to the OEM it was worth it. The shape for the door handle cable allows the cable to slide out, preventing the door from being opened from the inside. I have to keep reinstalling it. All in all I would buy again

Pros
  • Ideal for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Some problems

Worked great to replace a broken regulator!

Worked great replacing a broken power window on my 2012 Ford Expedition. A step-by-step video with instructions can be found on YouTube. This job took me a little over an hour (lots of steps, fasteners and wires to get out of the way to get to the regulator) BUT it was a significant savings over the dealer. Very satisfied.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Repair

Took about 18 months.

I bought the passenger door from this seller and the driver's door from another. The driver's side still works perfectly, but this broke after about 18 months, although it is on the passenger side, which is rarely used. You can see the wires coming out which seems to be the problem with these regulators. I purchased the Revain driver's side through JSD Auto Parts. It still works perfectly and is used daily.

Pros
  • The best in its niche
Cons
  • There are defects

For a third of the dealer price, everything worked perfectly

Honestly, everything worked perfectly. I installed it on my 2011 Lincoln Navigator. The holes matched perfectly and I was able to screw it to the door frame with little effort. The entire installation took a little over an hour and a half. If I had to do it again, I could easily finish it in about 45 minutes. My existing motor was hooked up to the ESC and everything worked fine.

Pros
  • Doping πŸ”₯
Cons
  • Expensive

Serviceable replacement

As many other reviews have said this seems to be a pretty good power window but poorly packaged. It arrived damaged. the two vertical slide rails have been torn off the base body and the packaging foam is stuck in the greased rails. The build itself, while clearly made of lower quality than OEM components, appears to be serviceable. Installation was just as easy. I was able to repair the new damaged block using the original components and it works as it should. Time will tell how it holds up.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • I'll write back later

VERY BAD QUALITY MORE CHINA JACK!

HAD TO USE TWO ATTACHMENTS FROM THE OLD REG AND CHECK THE NEW HOLE IN THE CORRECT PLACE ON THE METAL RAIL. THE EQUIPMENT FAILED ON A COLD NIGHT IN MINNESOTA IN JANUARY AFTER I COME HOME FROM A MEETING. ONE OF THE MAIN FORTS (CHINA) BROKEN THAT NIGHT I TOOK HOME TO WALK INTO THE FREEZING! I REPAIRED THE RINKY DINK LATCH WITH A LOCK SHOULDER SCREW. I DON'T BELIEVE IN THIS DEVICE YET AND USE MY WINDOW SAVING! I WILL OPEN THE DOOR TO SWIMMING OR COUGHING AND SNEEEING! UNDERSTAND WHAT I'M TALKING…

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for the elderly

Very important! Works well!

Great price! I used it on a Ford Expedition in 2009. There was a clip that was already broken when the package arrived and a rubber clasp that didn't hold the rail to the frame. So not as good quality as Ford parts. But after everything was assembled and screwed, these defects in no way affected the function of the window. These elements were only there to hold everything in place until the bolts were inserted. Also, the cable that controls the opening of the door slipped out of the latch on…

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • Unbelievable price
