I did a lot of amazon review research on dash cams. I don't know why more people haven't bought this? Set up was fairly easy, took a little longer to install the back camera, but just have to hide the wire in the side of the car underneath the rubber on the door frames. Luckily a tool was added to help with this. Video quality is amazing. When I set up the back camera, it was upside down, but no problem, one setting switch and it was fixed. Night time video quality was clear and amazing. I am comparing this to another older dash cam I had that wasn't 4k. This is a huge upgrade. I just say to get this today and save yourself some time in looking at other dash cams. Oh, the phone app works fine. Just go on airplane mode to get it to connect. A little annoying, but I'm assuming you're not driving when using the app, so having it airplane mode for a few min to make adjustments or download video allows for a small sacrifice to have it in this mode. Included window adhesive to make transferring to another car, much simpler, is a huge plus. I actually broke my old dash cam trying to take if off the window. Included SD card, tool, instructions, what's not to love about this? Oh, and if you want to use the 24/7 surveillance without hardwire (for fear it may drain the battery) I suggest buying a 20w portable battery. It's the size of a portable phone battery.
