I bought these lights for an outside bar I built to place under the top of the bar. The adhesive is strong enough to prevent them from falling off. Make sure you wipe them with rubbing alcohol anywhere you intend to attach them. They are beautiful and bright and you have a choice of many colors or you can switch between all colors. I use sync mode for my music, as long as the sound sensor works very well, it syncs the lights to the music perfectly. Overall I'm so happy with my purchase that I'm already thinking where I could use another set 🙂 I highly recommend it
