Haven't tried them in the rain so can't comment on that but they look and feel great, nice and hold their shape well. The only problem is that the seat does not return to its original position. and if you put it back in your holes you can't fix it. a serious seat adjustment must be made in any case. probably a second person just because of the weight on the seat
