Review on Leviton 10046 One Piece Incandescent Lampholder by Donald Gore

Used a pair of these to retrofit two old Stiffel floor lamps that had their original dimmers failed and their sockets were plain stamped metal. They fit perfectly and I just plugged the power cords into the outlets. We now control the dimming with the Insteon Smarthome dimmer modules to which the lamps are connected. When installing them, be sure to search the internet for ways on how to make an "insurance knot," which is the correct way to discharge the lamp cord that goes into the bottom of the socket.
