This is a cheap way to take photomicrographs with the iPhone, especially if you use older microscopes without modern adapters like my Zeiss Photomicroscope 2. Basically it is an adapter for any iPhone with a quality eyepiece. The photo quality is excellent. The color balance is sometimes off, but this can easily be corrected with Photoshop or other image editing programs. A word of caution: my iPhone came with a case that didn't come off easily. I had to get another cover that was easier to remove. Otherwise, I was afraid of damaging the iPhone by twisting it.
