Review on 🐺 Husky HB4500 4500 lbs. Brute Power Jack in Hammer Gray Finish: Superior Strength and Durability by Andy Jolley

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Bad quality control. Don't expect it to last very long.

We have two of these. If it works, they're great. The first needed a switch at 6 months, the second is so badly clogged after a year that you need a big socket to unplug it and then it works for several minutes. Incidentally, the first shows the same symptoms as the second and will certainly fail in the next few months. One of our scout leaders used them on boat trailers and told me not to take them at all. He's still had the last one for over a year. We have to replace the second one and we won't get another husky. In general, they have big problems with quality control. Very, very disappointing. That's a great idea and better than the old crank turning. But reliable? No way.

Pros
  • Power Trailer Jack, 4500 lb rated, 12v operation, hardened gears and soldered connections
Cons
  • Updates
