Terrible backlight. YMMV
Despite excellent scene brightness and bright room image quality, to match the rave reviews from RTINGS and others, the device we received had terrible backlight blur. Some backlight blurring is normal and expected for an LED TV, especially at this price point, but it's bad enough that it's unsuitable for viewing dark scenes even in a moderately lit room. Since we bought the device for home cinema use, this is an absolute breach of contract. To make matters worse, Hisense customer support is still not responding. I'll update if we ever get a reply from them.
