I use this contact paper on many projects. This is a bigger role and it was a stock buy. Saved 2€ and got exactly what I wanted. It was listed as new and was still in the original packaging. I'm a little impatient right now and didn't want to paint/clean the pretty plywood I'm using for the shelves. That solved my problem immediately, so I can use the shelves today. It's so easy to wash when I need to. I've also used it on some not-so-pretty plywood that I use as an extra table top. It is a low to medium tack adhesive. More on the underside, but not so deep that you have to constantly press on it. I used to cover with beautiful wrapping paper that I used to line my drawers. You can't find pretty backing paper so make your own. I had to use pieces of double sided tape on the front and back of the drawer to hold the paper in place. This works great for me. Pictured is one of the drawer liners and I used matte not gloss but I'm sure it would look great with both gloss and matte finishes.
