Frozen glass? in Kitchen & Dining

Used to create a frosted glass effect on my living room window. Let's go to the light too, but nosy neighbors won't look in and nervous dogs won't look out. I thought that maybe the icing effect wouldn't work because it's transparent contact paper, but it did. Even if it took a few days. When I first installed it, it seemed to me that the windows were dirty. But now it looks great. Not sure why it took a few days to get a matte look. Maybe the windshield wipers are drying underneath? 🤷‍♀️…

Protecting Hubby from Organizing Closets and Drawers

Hubby has a very bad habit of spoiling furniture with drinks. We just bought a new coffee table and I didn't want it to look like our old one. I covered the coffee table with clear contact paper and you don't even notice! It took patience and another person to hold the roll while I slowly smoothed it out with a credit card. If he forgets to use coasters, I don't get upset. It's definitely cheaper than repainting! If only I could think of a way to stretch his dirty socks inside out!

Looks like a good coat of wax

I bought this to cover my breakfast counter to prevent water rings. The table has leaves so I made each leaf separately. I thought it would be easier to install than using printed contact paper since I wouldn't have to match a pattern, but it was actually slower because it would show tiny bubbles. It was worth it in the end and we no longer have to use glasses stands. The 2nd photo shows how everything looks finished when viewed across the table. Please note that I ordered glossy paper, but the

Makes a dry erase workbook

Uses this to cover the pages in a preschool workbook so our child can dry erase markers and reuse the pages in the book. Worked very well. It's easy to reposition on the page to ensure there are no wrinkles or bubbles. Some spots are slightly "spooky" with the marker but feel a bit tacky, probably due to manufacturing. Also, it was a red marker that still tends to get dirty, and besides, we didn't delete it right away. A few minor imperfections on the sheet. Overall, I'm thrilled with how the…

$2 saved on stock search, perfect

I use this contact paper on many projects. This is a bigger role and it was a stock buy. Saved 2€ and got exactly what I wanted. It was listed as new and was still in the original packaging. I'm a little impatient right now and didn't want to paint/clean the pretty plywood I'm using for the shelves. That solved my problem immediately, so I can use the shelves today. It's so easy to wash when I need to. I've also used it on some not-so-pretty plywood that I use as an extra table top. It is a low
