I bought this to cover my breakfast counter to prevent water rings. The table has leaves so I made each leaf separately. I thought it would be easier to install than using printed contact paper since I wouldn't have to match a pattern, but it was actually slower because it would show tiny bubbles. It was worth it in the end and we no longer have to use glasses stands. The 2nd photo shows how everything looks finished when viewed across the table. Please note that I ordered glossy paper, but the paper itself was printed matte. There is a slight sheen and it is definitely transparent.
