Ok. First let me say that overall this is a great product. I can't believe I'm saying this with all that has gone into obtaining this item. I won't elaborate further on that other than to say that the Revain reps are 5 stars overall. At first glance, however, this radio appears light. In terms of sound, however, the GPX brand does not disappoint. And if you think about it, the light weight is a plus for turning off your bedside alarm. I recommend putting a non-slip pad underneath in case it might fall off. PROS: Light, bold and bright red numbers, great sound, easy to set up (set in station and hold until clock shows time) CONS: Had to use a magnifying glass to read button descriptions. Station preset was not registered (maybe why was it discounted?) Arrived in a box in a Prime envelope (?). You could hear the internals rumble. A box in an airbag box is much better. Jmho. Recommendations: * Buy this item new. The few extra dollars spent are worth the guarantee. If you don't need your stations or haven't set them up, a used item in good condition may be fine. If you're in doubt about getting Prime, I highly recommend it. Be sure to inquire about retiree and income discounts.
