Walked 250 milesMy first minimalist shoe. I have to say that I really like her. They fit well and snugly and are very comfortable. The grip is impressive, which is why I preferred these other minimalist shoes I've tested in stores. Was pleasantly surprised by the cushioning Coming from a parkour background, finding a shoe that can handle long falls without killing my foot is important. They will change the way you run; which in my case was a good thing for resolving my shin splints as I transitioned from a toe healing step to a toe (ball of foot) step. Tires as they heal your legs when you run like this. The boots have a small tag that tells you how to walk in them. The upper material nestles comfortably around the foot and is breathable at the same time. Vibram soles are always good, the tread pattern sheds mud and dirt quickly as you run to maintain traction. My only complaint is a couple of open cracks (shown in photos) but with the mileage and abuse they're getting I really can't fault them. Maybe that can be corrected with a rubberized toe box that pushes back a bit. Would be a nice upgrade for a 5 or 6. Still the tears won't go away and are more like cuts. I've done a lot of extreme trail running with them (shown in the video), they excel in that element. provides support to maintain proper stance. Most of the wear and tear they have suffered is in the ball of the foot as that is where they receive most of the stress/weight. The tread wear can be seen in the photos provided. Overall I'm very happy with them and will buy them again/next gen and recommend them to anyone looking for a comfortable minimalist shoe. I've gotten a lot of compliments on them too, but it might just be the color choice. Although personally I find them to be very stylish and have a modern, rugged edge to them. Suitable for all areas of use, from city running to boulder jumping in the forest. You will get the job done. Tip: Buy the exact size you wear, they fit true to size. Unlike vape gloves (also tried on and looked at when buying) which run large due to the lack of common padding. similar shoe sizes, like Converse.
