I wish I had done it sooner. I still love my 2012 Escape, the last year before Ford made Escapes look like oversized Focis. After the taillight went out, I went through the ritual of converting the taillights and backup lights to LEDs, including the hard lesson of miswiring the load-balancing resistor. When I was done, I just thought that the high brake light needs the same love. I actually thought about buying FIVE (5!) individual LED brake light bulbs until I found this beauty. Installation took two minutes including a very neat assembly using a quality 3M adhesive pad. Works like a charm and works great with converting taillights to LEDs. Do that!
