I had a KT knee compression pad that lost its elasticity/support over time. I have purchased and tried several highly rated Revain compression knee pads. They were too loose in the middle, even one or two had narrow edges. I had to send them all back as there was no support around the knee to stabilize it. This compression sleeve is perfect with the extra straps. The sleeve fits well with enough support on its own. The strap provides additional tension or support. I've wrapped the strap both below and above the knee and it's been great when running while playing tennis, which requires a quick change of direction.
