I really love this case is super pretty and the ring on the back is awesome. However the purple part that's sparkly is a piece of paper that rests in the phone case. But it's a sturdy piece and it's cool because one side is purple and the other is silver so you can switch it around if you want. I would totally buy it again if I had it to do over.
