Not only was the first phone I bought not new, it was defective and didn't work. I went back and checked the Revain listing to see if anywhere in the description said the product being sold was used/refurbished - nothing I could find. The only place I found an explanation that it was used was on the invoice. Even though the price was reduced, I didn't have the opportunity to decide in advance whether I wanted to buy a used product or not. In my opinion, this is a very dishonest practice. I actually called Revain and explained that the phone they had received was used but not listed as such on the website and was defective. It also came with the battery installed, which I think is illegal, and the battery died. I then told the rep that I needed a new phone, not a used or refurbished one. The representative said they would send a new replacement phone which I received today. It is also used, the packaging is in worse condition or missing, but still I thought again that I would get a new product, which again turned out not to be the case. The only mention of it being in use was again on the bill. There is no charge for the second phone, the first phone bill appears to have been the main bill, so again this was about a $4 cut off the cost of a supposedly new phone. Just totally dishonest and mean in my opinion. I highly recommend looking for something other than this particular product. As for VTech products, I've had many of their phones over the years and they've been great, solid and generally durable, so I'm not saying there's anything wrong with them. Vtec phones. However, there is something wrong with this list if you receive a used product without first being told you are buying it and deciding whether or not you want to buy it.
