I bought this scale because my wife is a dog trainer and every few days she needs to take the weight off the board and train the dogs. We've found the scale to give an incorrect reading from time to time, quite noticeably - by around 10 pounds. I've tried rearranging it in case it doesn't sit straight, but that clearly wasn't the problem. The only way out is to remove the batteries and start over.
