All instructions followed including waiting 20 minutes with the door open while the key fob was held over 50ft away. Installed, no problems on two test drives, hit the gas the next day and when I left the dashboard it was lit up like a Christmas tree, all sorts of warnings and check engine lights. At some point on the way home I took my foot off the accelerator and it started hitting me, so I had to put the truck in neutral and stop to make up my mind. First of all, the price of this device is extremely high as people face problems some of which are very dangerous. I would buy it if it was a $50 gimmick, but for $260 after a 15% discount, I expect no hassle plug and play.
