It works pretty well as advertised. This is my first scan tool and I needed it for personal use to fix a check engine light issue on my 2010 Malibu that hasn't been fixed since 2017 and I have it for my Transmission Management class at my local college used. At first I was very new to ECM data and had no idea what to expect. Throughout the course I was taught the different types of scanning tools and the modes they are capable of. Eventually I wanted to invest in my own scanner so I researched Youtube and articles. I looked at Justin Doe's review and bought the same one. It's a pretty decent scanning tool that I've used so far. Very easy to read and well organized in presenting information. What worries me about this tool is that if I scroll down the screen too fast, the screen lags and doesn't keep up with the button I'm commanding it to do. It hangs for about 3 seconds and then the screen shows what I want. The other downside is that when I want to delete the code I follow the instructions but when I continue the tool says "Error, could not delete code. Make sure the engine is off and the ignition is on." (But the engine is already off and the ignition is on.) However, as soon as I start the engine the check engine light goes away, which is what I wanted. I don't know if the scanner crashes or has any problem, i didn't mention it to customer support, i wanted manufacturer codes like P1174, i couldn't get that kind of info, so i don't know if the scan tool should get that info or just the scan factory level tool was able to get this information. Many thanks to the team that developed this useful diagnostic tool! With the guidance to get the information, I was able to fix the emissions problem on my Malibu.
