Good quality glass. This type of screen protector generally doesn't take a lot of damage without breaking, but it looks like regular screen glass. Part of the privacy screen works well. It's not 100% blocked at an angle, but it would be very difficult for someone sitting next to me to read without being obvious. Size fits my XR. I love that it comes with two screens. Be sure to follow the instructions and apply the sticker to the entire screen before applying to remove dust that cannot be seen with the naked eye. My only suggestion would be to include a plastic frame to help you center it. I could do it quite well, but I've replaced this type of screen many times and I figured it out. And once you put the protective film on the glass, it will start to stick together, so you'll be ok the first time.
