Going from V1 to V2 was a little disappointing. The V1 really were that comfortable without a break. V2 is definitely a lot stiffer and less soft. Worst thing at the moment are the edges around the ankle, I can see them becoming a problem (like the bony protrusions chafing) and hope they soften up a bit. They were the first thing I noticed, but luckily I didn't rub them too hard on my first run. They don't seem to get you ahead like the others, if that makes sense. Hmmm. The jury is out. I will still try them but for now they are not an upgrade from the previous model.
