There are pros and cons, but unfortunately the cons outweigh the cons. Pros: Video quality is good; easy to connect cameras to NVR; wireless cameras everywhere; 24/7 recording. Cons: At first, all 8 cameras worked fine. The next day only a few were connected - see picture. The setup requires the NVR to be close to a monitor/TV and a router as the NVR needs to be connected to both. The setup took some time. While pairing the cameras was straightforward, it wasn't all that easy to navigate otherwise. I finally figured it out, but it's not very intuitive and the instructions are limited. The main reason I am returning this is that the wifi range or performance does not cover my home. I had cameras in the front and back, and on the first and second floors. I would say that the farthest camera from the NVR is only 50 feet away. Extremely disappointed as the reviews said the signal was strong and it had all the features I wanted.
