I paint miniatures and figures and this acrylic stand is perfect for all my Vallejo/Army painters. It's not big enough for one of the new Games Workshop sized paints. I bought the 6 level version. The acrylic/plexiglass side panels are strong, around 4-5mm thick, and each "tray" is made of 1mm (approximately) thick plexiglass, which is more fragile to the touch. into small nuts on the sides. After all of this is done, however, the structure will be quite strong. They don't come with instructions, but it will be pretty hard to get it wrong. I use a paint storage rack - it fits 12 standard (read: not new Game Master Paint container style) 0.6 fl. oz / 18ml bottles per tier with little clearance, allowing me to comfortably fit 72 bottles in my 6- Tier rack can fit. If you buy multiple, the posts will fit snugly depending on which direction your bolts/nuts run. All in all a great color shelf!
