A nice accent, not for actual lighting needs

This isn't quite good enough for your daily lighting needs but it does make a really nice accent light. I think These will be going in my halloween decorations since they have a lot of orange-ish and purple accents in the colors.I will be using this in 2 pendants in the kitchen to add to the halloween vibes.I think if you want something like this for actual light to see well in you need to look at lamp shades where there is some white lite that shows through, but if you are looking for an…

Pretty, but. in my review

Gave off more of a soft pink glow instead of a defined kaleidoscope effect. Tried the bulb in different fixtures, but wasn't able to achieve the look shown in the description.

  • Just stunning i put three in my overhead light no need to put globes over light bulbs anymore

You can’t see the stain glass effect once you turn the light on!

Smaller than expected. Smaller than an appliance bulb. You can’t see any stain glass effects when you turn the porch light on leaving nothing more than a LED bulb. Too tiny for stain glass effects.

too much yellow best in my review

The ones I received had way more yellow and less black lines. I was super disappointed, ended up not using them. They were too bright in the yellow color and not pretty like I was hoping.

Bright but flickers

Unfortunately this light flickers like crazy, so I won’t be using it anymore. When it does shine steadily it’s bright and pretty though.

  • Nice soft lighting that complements my Christmas lights without having my bright dusk to dawn lights on.

  • The bulb may not be as durable as other options, leading to a higher likelihood of breakage

I love this bulb! good for me

I bought these bulbs for above my sink over Christmas and I love it so much I've kept it. When this bulb dies I'll replace it with the other and pick out another set.

The light is way too bright

So was very exited about this bulb - I thought it would add ambiance. It does not. the light is way too bright and as such you do not see any of the colors. Basically you get a pretty light bulb when off but no color effect when on.

Yellow overpowers other colors for the ST64

Using the ST64 in an clear fixture, the yellow overpowered the other colors. Worked better in a shaded lamp. Did not try it in a can fixture.

Pros
  • The color is great but the inside filamentIs too bright.
Cons
  • I like these and would buy more but one of the two bulbs arrived cracked.
