Dead when it arrived. in Computers & Accessories

I bought these because they had better customer reviews than previous FTDI boards I've bought from another manufacturer. They arrived in the best possible condition but did not work. They were not recognized by Linux or Windows. I followed the instructions to install the drivers on Windows 10. I have returned them and will write a new review when the replacement arrives. If the replacement boards are also bad I will send them back for a refund instead of a replacement. Some googling suggests this is a bad batch of these chips and the board is not tested before shipping.
