The sound is everything you would expect from Bose. Super clean, if a bit flat sound. Very comfortable on the ears for a long time. So why 3 stars? Confuses the cable that connects to the headphones. Just tap it and you'll lose the audio on one side. Turn your head and it may partially turn off. Too fragile. A solid connection helps, but can still cause problems. Very upset about this vulnerability. Otherwise it would have been 4-5 stars. UPDATE: There is a more rigid latch that inserts the miniplug into the headphone much more securely. 4 1/2 stars
