I ordered these lights for video and photography, the lights came on time and were exactly as described, easy installation with a bag to store them completely, they are quite large so make sure you have one have good place. With plenty of room for lights, like the stuff you put in front of your car window to keep the sun off the light cover, the light shade is like a very thin piece of plastic. I don't like that the lighting cover is quite flimsy and only attaches with velcro. I think you can use it if you want, I decided against it, and some of the demo photos I posted above are quite large. If it's not a higher standard, they're strong enough to hold. They aren't heavy at the top, but be careful not to hit them as they really don't have much weight and fall off easily. Love the fact that the plug and cord have an on/off switch, but it also comes with a remote control. The instructions clearly state that the remote control does not contain batteries. Please buy your own. I found it to be really fun overall and they did exactly what I needed to light up an area during my videos and photos when you need something simple, easy to set up, easy to break but bright enough to use illuminate a small or large area, if you have several of them, then you should definitely buy these lamps
