Recognizes people perfectly. Does not reliably detect vehicles. Mine is 3 feet off the ground and 1 foot from the edge of my driveway and it won't see the car. Now you can adjust the sensitivity by opening the shutter in front of the motion sensor, but then you keep getting false alarms and still miss most cars. Cars! The shutters are open about 1 inch and both shutters are moved to the left. Now it works fine!
