I was looking for a small handheld device that could kill random mosquitoes flying around my office. This device has proven to be suitable for my needs. But at over $30, it felt a bit pricey. I ordered it and placed it next to the computer in my office according to the instructions. After a day or two there was no evidence that this device had picked up anything, although I did see a few "things" flying. I began to doubt whether this item is really effective in "shooting" mosquitoes. So I decided to put this unit in my garage. I have a large reflector in my garage that kills dozens of mosquitoes every night. I put this little pad in the garage next to my big zapper overnight. My zapper has dozens of kills by morning. Small unit - NO! At over $30, this device proved completely ineffective. In fact, I've seen similar devices at half the price in local discount stores. But here's the point. Inside the box with the device is a card with a large Revain logo that says you can get a $30 Revain gift card by leaving a 5-star review on the item.
