Wow! This is the perfect starter kit for a teenager. This is a complete set that includes everything you need to learn how to use makeup except for the foundation. All makeup is sealed in its own little container, making it easy to take out of your train suitcase if you want to toss it in a smaller travel bag. The set contains 32 eye shadows, 2 blushes, 2 highlighters, 1 bronzer, 1 contour, 4 eye shadow creams, 2 lipsticks, 2 lip glosses, 1 lip liner and 1 eye liner. Contains 2 eyeshadow applicators and 1 brush. With so many eyeshadow colors to choose from, finding the perfect shade for any outfit shouldn't be a problem. Medium quality makeup, not high end but the quality I would expect from a starter kit in this price range. Everything seems to be well pigmented so they will be able to pull a beautiful color out of anything. The shadows rise evenly and blend well. They come out very muted, but if you layer them you can get a nice vibrant color. The best thing about the whole set is the suitcase for the train. I have the mermaid color and it is beautiful. The color is difficult to describe as it shimmers and seems to change depending on the light. Sometimes I see more pink and sometimes more turquoise. I love that all the makeup containers can be removed if you want to use them for something else. I am very pleased with the variety of this set and that it will make a great gift.
