Review on High Speed Gear Rigger 31Bv02Bk by Keith Aluguvelli

This was my first belt and I've done some very active classes with it. For the price I would recommend it to anyone and I'm sure they won't disappoint. However, there are a few lessons I've learned that will influence my next purchase. I have a 36" +/- waist and this belt (along with the inner belt) is right on the edge of size so I got the plus sizes. Going down to my 34" waist this belt gets too big be. In general, I'm happy with the sizes given. I wish there was a loop on the inner strap instead of a hook. I know it's minor, but when I wear just the inner strap (i.e. before and after the training, in a restaurant or any other place where I don't need a full strap) it scratches my hands and my grandson when I hold it. As I said, not much but it caught my attention. This outer strap has like the lining a loop.When I use molle webbing to secure pouches etc items tend to slip down the webbing when not wearing it (I know I could get belt pouches or a molle webbing but I need the flexibility of both). /or). The good thing is that once I've tightened the outer strap and secured it to the inner strap, I can adjust my bags by sliding them exactly where I need them and then pressing the outer strap back against the inner strap . . They still slipped a bit during exercise, but not enough to require adjustment. The outer strap is quite thin. It's fine when used with or without an inner harness and certainly very comfortable getting in and out of different positions while wearing it, but when I take it off the stiffness is somewhere between a dive harness (very stiff) and a car safety belt (very thin). When I take it off with all my gear on, the strap dangles like a robe waistband. While it's not a showstopper and I still recommend this strap, my next one will be tougher. I would recommend it to a friend. enough that I don't think I'll be wearing it any time soon). I will continue to use this in my workouts but will update when I can. The parts of the loop are placed back-to-back so that both the hook and loop face outwards, away from each other. I can attach mag pouches and other accessories to the outer strap so they stay in place and the strap is still attached to the inner strap. . After several days of rigorous testing, nothing has changed and the outer belt is now stiffer. I don't expect to replace this any time soon.
