I know that these are expensive, but they are worth every dollar. As a compression short, they are a little longer that other brands (good) and hit just above the knee. The fabric is thicker, and does seem to be a little warmer in hot weather than the UA heat gear or Nike. What blows the competition away is the rubber print on the thigh that acts like KT tape to support the muscles. This alone makes these worth every dollar. While they are too expensive to wear everyday for working out, they can be used for long runs, HIIT or competition as a motivational tool
