10K Yellow Gold Rope Chain Necklace - Thin & Lightweight (0.7Mm, 0.9Mm, 1Mm Or 1.3Mm) Review

It’s been about a month wearing this chain with my pendant. I have a toddler who has broken 4 of my chains! I ordered this because I love how dainty looking it is, but I knew I would have to be extra careful. Y’all. it’s a pretty strong chain! And. my toddler has even attempted to pull it off! I know my reflex and awareness of this has gotten stronger, but chain is still holding up! I am surprised and happy with it and my purchase!

I am quite pleased with my little gold chain. I wasn't certain when I ordered it if it would be sturdy enough to look right and strong enough either - for my grandmother's pendant that I wear all the time - but it is! It is doing a fine job and has been for a good while now. I don't ever take it off and it has been worry free for me. It doesn't look wrong either - it is fine and looks right with the pendant. At first I really liked this chain. It is very very dainty as described. But I was hoping it would be a little stronger. It lasted about one month, before it snapped when I was trying to adjust it away from my shirt.just a couple days past my return date window. So now I can't return it. I'm super bummed. Anyway, it's pretty but just know it's not something you would want to wear everyday. I read different reviews and had high hopes that it would be stronger but it is not a daily wearer.

It’s perfect because mine from Macy’s broke and I was unaware of how it broke, but it’s giftable and just like my other chain.

I purchased this necklace in June 2022 and the clasp broke off the chain 2 weeks ago. I will get it repaired or buy one from a more reliable jeweler.

This chain is very delicate and small in diameter. The clasp was very difficult to use. I spent 15 minutes trying to clasp the necklace. While I loved the chain, I just cant justify keeping it if I cannot clasp it on my neck. So I will be returning it. If you have very nimble fingers, you may love it.

Very sturdy, beautiful chain. It has a nice large loop to fit a larger charm on it. I purchased the thickest one, and it is big enough to see from a distance, but not too thick to where it is heavy and uncomfortable. It’s just right. It’s well made, not cheap. Great quality for an even greater value! I 100% recommended this chain!

Clasp is so small. Can barely use it. Necklace is very slim. Photo shows it compared to a normal clasp. Thanks for attention!

I liked the price, and the necklace/chain. After 2 weeks the chain broke while I was brushing my hair. I would not buy this particular chain again.

This chain is pretty and seems to be tough enough so far. I don’t take it off and wear a small medal on it. There’s no difference in appearance between this 10 k and 14k of other chains I have. I’m very pleased

I think it’s very pretty but the chain is very very thin so be aware of that also 16 inches is a little bigger than a choker chain I personally prefer longer chains but I did not know what measurement I wanted since I’m a first-time jewelry buyer but now I definitely know how to go 18 or above. Otherwise, so far so good. I have no real complaints other than I wish it was bigger, or longer and thicker.

I love this necklace so much. I got the .9mm in 18 inches. I had it for a full year up until my son yanked it out of my neck. He did this a number of times before it actually broke so I’d say it’s pretty sturdy. I might buy a few to stack.
