I used this for a Celtic Fest I was in a pinch and didn't have the stays or my top done that I'm currently making so I needed some substitute. I needed a corset in a pinch, and this worked out really well for me. Once I had my skirt and chemise and then this, it really completed my look and I got lots of compliments at the Ren faire. It’s also nice that you can reverse it where there is a golden ochre color. Be aware that there is a small fabric tag on both sides indicating the size of the garment that you’ll need to cut off, which was really no biggie for me.

I wore this bodice ONE TIME and I loved it because how comfortable is it and how good it looks. The reversible nature of it also adds value. HOWEVER there is no way to take it off and put it on without pulling over my head. When I took it off, the steel bones burst through the rayon and can now be easily removed completely. Very pleasantly surprised! Boning is nice and it goes perfectly with my skirt for Ren Faire. It was a bit big in the back, for reference I’m 5’4 and 135 lbs. I highly recommend this product, excellent for Ren Faire or cosplay! Also, it arrived a week early, which is the best kind of surprise!

For the price, it's a very good costume piece. I'd prefer a thicker brocade, but it isn't bad. A bit shorter than a usual bodice, but with skirts underneath, it's perfect.

Not for historical reenacting. Runs small and has no boning/structure. May look better on a skinny girl, but looks lumpy on me.

The neckline was above my bustline at an awkward chest height, as was the boning. Did not fit a normal bustline. That's my review.

Great vest, the underwrites hold the shape nicely and comfortably. The vest is somewhat difficult to put on as the laces do not completed come out of the lacing rings. There should be a way to easily unlace the laces. I may undo the knot at the end of the laces so that I can put the vest on easily

Most al tops fit me, but my DDD bust was hard to get in. I ended up removing the boning ( which is very nice boning! All metal, I will probably use it in a sewing project) to fit better and that helped.

It fit a little large but i was able to tighten enough to wear. Great for the price for a low maintenance costume. Thanks for attention.

This is a great blue color but I didn't realize it would not fit UNDER the bust--so it will have to rest on top! Hard to clean!

The brown side is super cute (and comfy) but the reserve color is like a gross muted purple. I was expecting black from other reviews.

I bought two of this kind and they are comfortable and fit well once it is on. Unless the strings in the front is taken off completely it is somewhat difficult to slip on from the top for people with broad shoulders. Overall the fabric is soft and light and the quality is good.

Color is fairly accurate to the sample pictures. The boning in front and back is just enough to give the bodice some structure. Ties in the front and back also give you plenty of room for adjustment and fit, so with a little work, the bodice fits very well on your waist and bust. A good deal for the money, and it brings costumes together in a good way as a focal piece.

I wore it once and it fit fine a little short in the torso. Boning is only in the front center and back center none on the sides. I washed it and all the boning riped out. I did not see anywhere that this was dry clean only in the description. Only after did I find it the Q&A section. Disappointed!

Real legit corset boning and structure! Renn fair ready but also nice enough for everyday style. Very high quality feeling and fully reversal, to wear backwards or inside out! Inside is black with yellow piping. It's so beautiful. Highly recommend

Worked great for renaissance festival. Looked fairly genuine and not costume-y. The cotton fabric is pretty thin, but the boning gives it good structure. Reversible -- I actually liked wearing it with the black outside instead of the yellow. Good value for the price.
