It works with a wringer mop.
I know it's not for a mop BUT. It's the wrong fit, but it screws in just enough to engage the threads and hold the grip! The rotating squeegee has a cone shaped nozzle which is a cylinder so the filaments are not caught at the top of the squeegee head. We love it because our original broke and we couldn't find a replacement stick just for the spin mop so we gave it a try and the handle is much longer which is great because my fiance is 6ft 5" and weighs a ton more than stretches the original!
