Received and assembled the chair today. So far, so good. It looks very nice. It's not leather. It's vinyl. I find it very expensive because it's not actually leather. I'll discuss this with Revane. The price corresponds to the genuine "leather" chair. However, it's pretty obvious that this chair isn't leather when you touch it. Although I like it. I will update this review in a week if needed. It was VERY easy to put together. Mine was apparently sent back by a previous buyer because there were slight metal ring marks where the screws were tightened and then removed. Overall I'm very happy with the chair itself but not the price. There should be a discount as it's technically 'used' but in great condition AND it's not actually leather. The appearance of the chair corresponds to the pictures on the internet. I'm happy with the function and feel so far. I'm disappointed that it's not leather, it's actually leather. However, synthetic leather lasts longer, does not crack and requires much less maintenance. I looked at leather armchairs and compared the advantages and disadvantages of leather armchairs when shopping. The skin lasts much longer over time. It also has a much greater consistency and doesn't scratch as easily. Overall I am happy with my purchase but will negotiate the price with Revain as it is not leather.
