I have fermented two batches of 6 gallon wine (Riesling and Sauvignon Blanc). When I brew beer I use kegs because I don't want to mess around with bottles. The same with wine. After the fermentation process was complete and the wine was poured into kegs, I used my portable faucet (kegerator faucet) to pour the wine into the glasses. Either my carbon dioxide pressure was too high or the wine was a thinner consistency, for some reason the portable faucet was leaking about 1/2 gallon before I discovered it. Island Cleanup 3! These Ferroday portable faucets work great with wine and I haven't had any leaks. I can leave them attached and open the kegerator door to select a style of wine to taste. As one reviewer pointed out, these faucet connections (band clamps and threaded fittings) are NOT secure. You must tighten them before use.
