Benefits: Blindsport: Works well on freeways - as long as all vehicles are traveling at approximately the same speed. Works well within CITY when moving at speeds over 20 miles. Very useful when reversing from a busy parking lot. Works very well and detects any fast moving vehicle that is not in your or your backup camera's field of view. Limitations: Any radar-based automotive solution has limitations, and the same applies to this one. One of the main limitations is below: detection of a static object whose relative speed is exactly equal to the speed of a moving object, Obtaining the required readings is quite difficult and requires proprietary algorithms to solve this problem. Please note the following: 1. If your vehicle speed is less than 24km, it will not work. Any radar based blind spot will not work. But the rear cross traffic alert works.2. If you are traveling at 20 miles and a vehicle in your right or left lane crosses you at 50 miles, the radar scanner will not have enough time to detect it.
