I've been taking beetroot powder for a few months and ordered a replacement when it ran out because it was significantly cheaper than the Pure Beets I brand before. I had a small batch of Pure Beets to compare when I received them. I am very dissatisfied with this product and very skeptical about the quality. Packaging: Although the packaging remained sealed, the outside of the packaging was dirty and covered in beetroot powder. However, they package and ship this material in a clearly not very hygienic way. Texture: I poured this into another container for a closer look and the bag was full of really hard lumps, not fine powder like other brands. Smell: Unlike my other brand which smells like beets should smell, earthy but sweet, this one smells very dirty. It has a completely different smell. Color: The color is lighter, dusty red, not as bright and fresh as the previous brand. And if you look closely and sift through it with a fork, you can see sand and straw mixed up everywhere. Due to the visible contamination of the product and the foul smell, I refuse to ingest this beetroot powder. I would not recommend it at all.
