A bit pricey but very durable but the 'bolt pattern' is only for smaller ones TV suitable and height is a factor I have to choose, my 49" Samsung which is taller than this unit can work without adding spacers to increase the height of the mount - great for a smaller one TV so although I haven't used it for my project I will be using it to hold my tv on wheels (24"). I have found that the ceiling mount tv stand can be enlarged to accommodate a large screen tv if it is flipped, which I did, and now my 49" Samsun sits about 7" higher than the base that came with it, which I use to place a soundbar underneath and despite can see "closed captions" clearly.
