If you'll be using this primarily while watching a screen or participating in a zoom/virtual meeting, this should really suit you. The kickstand isn't that easy to adjust, but that's pretty good as it stays where you want it. In that sense it is permanent. However, if you plan on also typing on your laptop/tablet while it's on this stand, it's a less than ideal experience. Since it's essentially a frame-versus-platform model, it wobbles a little when you type. This isn't a problem for short jolts, but not suitable for long typing.
