I was quite disappointed with this drone and I don't think my expectations were too high. Basically I wanted something fun to fly around the house and I thought it would be a cool feature to be able to record/stream videos. Unfortunately, he failed on those two things. First, the drone's auto-hovering ability is terrible. It rises and falls randomly without input. It was so bad that at one point he rose from about chest height to ceiling height. The only reason it didn't crash was because it was in a vault area. Additionally, it kept drifting no matter how many times I ran the gyroscope calibration, and the drift increased as it flew to the point where it was difficult to counteract. The camera is just useless. It has a very small field of view, so everything is zoomed in, making it only first-person flight. Though I honestly don't think that's the goal. But even for video or photos, I doubt this is a good thing, as the exposure settings are so poor that the screen was basically all black as I flew around my house. Even when I looked at the area directly under the lamp, it was dark. The controller felt OK, albeit cheap. There was no sand in the chopsticks, which was good, although there were a few sharp bits of plastic sticking out from the edges of the thenar area. Not enough to hurt you, just make you uncomfortable. So, was there anything good about this product? In high-speed mode, it was quite quick and agile. I think if it weren't for the leadership issues it would be fun. The batteries take a while to charge and they last 6-7 minutes instead of the advertised 10 minutes, which I think is fine. It is also good that there are 3 parts in the set and that everything can be packed in the case provided.
