Review on 🎧 High-Performance Noise Cancelling Racing Headphones for Nascar Scanners by Race Day Electronics by Kelly Miller

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Expected less but very satisfied.

Ok after reading all the good and bad reviews and looking at tons of other headphones I decided to give these a try anyway. I needed a good pair for the Indy 500 this year and I can tell you I wasn't expecting much but I was impressed. I had a good radio to start with but they were very comfortable, had soft padding, blocked the sound well despite some other reviews and by turning up the volume on my headphones I was able to hear the race radio broadcast in perfect order. NOW, that was an Indy 500, if I was running, say, a Nascar Bristol race in a bowl where it's louder due to the track design, I could add a diff view. In terms of weight, I didn't find them to be any heavier than the regular in-ear headphones you buy or rent for racetracks, my shooting headphones are about the same weight. ANY pair of headphones you leave on during a 3-4-5 hour race will feel heavy and crush your head. I only had to take them off after about an hour on warnings to give my ears a rest. It's not like this. manufacturer's fault, but the only slight discomfort, which I didn't expect, was that it was hot, like . Running with no shade, the black earmuffs and padding warmed up a bit under the scorching sun so they felt a bit hot after a while, but the earpads were enough, I don't feel it much. Only had 1 rave with them so far so overall very happy with the other brands I have tried DEF will be buying another pair for the wife.

Pros
  • So far so good
Cons
  • Definitely bad product
