Review on Ozeri WeightMaster Bath Scale: 440 lbs/200 kg, BMI, BMR and 50g Weight Change Detection - White by Brian Cheney

Weighs inaccurately

I don't usually review things, but this one seemed important to me. This scale would be very good if it weighed accurately. I used the same scale for many years but it stopped working. I loved all the features this one had. I always weigh myself in the same clothes at the same time of day so I can compare my weight. When I first stepped on this scale they said I was 5 pounds heavier than my previous scale. Although I was disappointed, I understand that each scale can be slightly different. The day before I went to the doctor and they weighed me in my clothes and shoes and this scale showed even more. After a few weeks on this new scale, I weighed myself and wanted to write down my result, but I forgot exactly what it said. So I got back on the scale exactly 1 minute after I just got off. The result was 4.5 pounds lighter than what was just written! I stepped on it again and got a second reading again. Now I have to weigh myself twice each time to get an accurate reading, but that skews the stored weights. So basically the weight change detection feature is useless as the reading will fluctuate between 4 and 5 pounds each time. I would very much like to return this scale, but I no longer have the packaging. It's disappointing because these scales look good, are easy to use, and have good features, but none of that matters if they don't weigh accurately.
