Review on Sony MDR-1AM2 Earphones, black by Ada Schwartz ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

All is well, liked the product, didn't buy it for nothing.

It seems to be headphones with an excellent sound quality, but I took them for some kind of gadget for a computer and they caught fire, so I ended up purchasing SONY instead. These headphones are compatible with the Creative Sound Blaster Z. In comparison to the Koss Porta Pro, I was unable to identify any variations in sound quality; although they play well in general, they are in some way constrained. It would appear that the sound card in my package has a more significant impact on the sound. There was no shock value at all:(. In terms of price to sound ratio, old inexpensive usb headphones from Ali with built-in sound are even better. Moreover, there is a connection for 4.4 included in the box; but, I acquired an adapter from AliExpress so that it could be used with the computer. There is no Sony player in my collection. In light of the fact that the adapter has a unique pinout, I will do my best to update the review. In addition, the pricing structure for these headphones is not entirely transparent. Recently sold for 18,000, then 13,000, and often for 11,000 at this point in time. Is this Sony's way of making fun of its customers? I was considering purchasing a Bayerdynamic hd770, but the reviews made me nervous because they claimed the headphones were more for information than actual sound. Sony was pleased with the reviews as well; however, there may be something wrong with them. As well as their lack of weight. . I was able to improve the sound quality by purchasing an adapter from Ali for a balanced cable (4.4-> 3.5mm) for the low price of eight dollars. After installing it, the bassiness of the sound increased, and I found that I needed to turn up the volume as well. It also appears as though the high ones have become cleaner, however this is most likely only an appearance.

Pros
  • Extremely lightweight headphones that are hardly noticeable when worn. Exceptionally plush ear pads; finally, a buzz! I was not even prepared for such plushness in the ear pads. I am curious as to how long they will survive and whether or not they will be able to be replaced.
Cons
  • I am completely at a loss for words; perhaps the comments will contain the answer you seek. The design is flimsy, but this is the price for the weight.
