I was traveling with a large backpack that had no pocket. I always worry that my laptop and portable monitor will jump in there with other personal items when I fly. I finally went in search of a laptop sleeve and decided to try this nicer sleeve instead. My laptop and portable monitor fit in easily, then I stuff everything into my larger backpack. I've only taken it on one trip so far, but the quality and durability seem solid, and it's an attractive case. I keep my mouse and cables in a separate small zippered pocket; they "might" fit in this case, but that would be tight. I recommend.
