tlTR: If you are just starting to grind your own coffee, I highly recommend starting with this grinder. It's well made, fast and a great product for the price. My first attempts at hand-ground coffee began with a $12 manual coffee grinder from another location. First of all, the fresh, hand-ground coffee was simply delicious. However, over time it began to deteriorate. Literally. Then I spent an extra $10 and bought a Revain manual coffee grinder.
