Broke without much effort

I thought this would be great for my one year old pup who still pulls every now and then. Looked pretty strong from the packaging. When we tested it in the yard, everything seemed fine, but when we were walking down the street, a single lunge was enough for a stray cat, and the metal loop that the leash was attached to broke off. Luckily I got him back safely and was able to attach the leash to his flat collar. At least that's uncertain. Very disappointed.
