Review on Optimized for Search: Clover Electronics CM625 Ultra Miniature B/W Camera with Standard Lens - Small (Black) by Lagant Wardrick

Revainrating 5 out of 5

That was then, this is now.

Of the several security cameras I have installed around my house, one is Clover B/W and the other three are other brands. During the day they all work great, but at night Clover is the only one who can still "see" while the others go blind. The 60 watt bulb on my motion sensor gives the Clover enough light to send a crisp and clear image to my dashcam. One of my other cameras got splattered for one night, so I now have a shamrock that "protects" this other camera from its hidden location during the night. Highly recommended. Update: August 2009 (could not change asterisk to one). Above is a review of a camera I received in 2007. It worked well so I decided to buy another one. Now very disappointed. The camera I received now has no name and looks similar to the original. It doesn't even come close in terms of functionality. The Amazon description says it comes with a power adapter, but I didn't get one. Used mine to test. The camera they are shipping now doesn't work in low light and is a piece of junk. Tried contacting Clover Support. Two weeks passed. Didn't even get a confirmation. Don't waste time.

Pros
  • 0.33 inch B/W CCD sensor
Cons
  • Operating speed

Its awesome but the flaw is it heats so fast that I need to turn it of just to cool it down.
